Who is this course for?

This course is for Kenya-based creative, curious, and impact-driven individuals who want to use AI to tell powerful stories, build skills for the future, and explore new career opportunities. No prior experience in AI or coding is needed. If you’ve got a story to tell or a burning desire to learn creative AI - this Academy will help you bring it to life.

Do I need to know how to code or be tech-savvy?

No! This course is designed for creatives of all skill levels. You don’t need any coding or tech background but you do need access to a computer and stable wifi.

What do I get with the course?

How long is the course?

This is a monthly course with new courses added frequently. The first cohort starts on June 30th with a launch event on June 28th.

How much does it cost?

We offer low-cost access to make the program as inclusive as possible with discounted scholarships available for those in need. You’ll get full platform access and weekly live sessions as part of your subscription.

Can schools or organizations enroll groups?

Yes! We offer institutional licenses and group enrollments for schools, youth programs, and creative hubs. Reach out to us directly for customized packages and onboarding support.

Will the course be available in other languages?

Yes! It’s currently offered in English, with a French version launching soon. More language options are in development to make the program accessible across Africa.

What do the 5,000 AI credits get me?

With a single pool of 5,000 AI credits, you can mix and match content generation however you like: up to 666 AI images (≈7.5 credits each), 200 60-second AI videos (≈25 credits each), 400 music tracks (≈12.5 credits each), 400 voice clones (≈12.5 credits each), 500 avatars (≈10 credits each), or 142 AI spokesperson videos (≈35 credits each).

Who is teaching the course?

The curriculum was created by Lisa Russell, Emmy-winning filmmaker and founder of ArtsEnvoy.ai, in consultation with African creatives, educators, and cultural leaders. It is delivered by a diverse group of African AI Teaching Artists - avatars representing different African countries and creative disciplines. These digital mentors bring cultural relevance, artistic insight, and storytelling wisdom to every module.
